First Holy Communion Veil with Pearls and Satin Trim …. Pearls and Satin for your beautiful little girl. What could be nicer and pretty. You can have a veil with satin trim on the edge and pearls on the veil itself. Or you can have the pearls on the satin edge and include a pretty satin bow on the veil. There are a lot of options that you can have. Some people love the satin trim on the veil especially if the dress has a lot of satin on it. And use can also use the satin trim to dress up a dress that is a little plain. Also any of the First Holy Communion Dresses that have pearls on them especially look nice with this veil. You can have this veil in either white or diamond white, which is a light ivory. The pearls on the back of the veil give it a very dainty look and the little girl love them. I have 1/4 inch satin trim or I have 1/2 inch satin trim which goes on the double layer veil. The veils are nice and full. All my veils are shipped in a box large enough so that they done arrive all wrinkled. I also include a plastic bag to hang them in to keep them nice until you are ready to wear. So if you want pearls and satin I have a beautiful handmade veil for you.
How about a retro First Holy White Communion Veil with Lace Trim for your little girl. Lace trim looks beautiful on a veil especially with a plain dress. This way you can “dress up” the dress with the veil and it is such a pretty look for a little girl. As long as you dress doesn’t have any lace trim that would conflict with the lace trim on the veil then go for it. It is a nice soft, pretty finish for the veil. So many people are worried about using the lace, that it is not going to match, or look out of place because no one else has it. Go for it, you will be glad you did, its beautiful. You can go simple with a 1/4 inch scalloped trim lace or you can be a little more bold with a 1″ lace. This also looks beautiful in your photos. Pair the lace trim with with a beautiful satin bow to finish off the veil. You can use this veil by itself or it can be attached to a headpiece. Either way it looks pretty. Don’t worry about what anyone else is using. If you love the lace, then have it on your veil. Sometimes people think they need lace on the dress to have lace on the veil. Actually quite the contrary, a lace trimmed veil goes better with a plainer dress so one complements the other.
Last night I spoke with Melanie from Texas. She was looking for a diamond white veil with lace trim and was having a hard time finding anything. We talked for quite a while starting off with the weather (a subject we all love) and about our children and then about her daughter’s First Holy Communion Dress and the veil she wanted to match it. She said her dress was simple but elegant and she would like a veil with a satin edge. She wanted to know if this was a popular style and I told her it was and then she asked me if I would recommend it to match her dress. I told her it would look fine as satin is always nice but asked her would she like a lace look. She said she loves lace but thought that with a plain dress lace would look out of place. I told her with a plain dress that is the perfect time to be able to use lace because she would not be clashing with any trim on her dress and the lace would look lovely. She chose a very delicate ivory flower headpiece with the lace trim and she is very excited now and looking forward to her little girl wearing it. Lace trimmed veils are beautiful. You just have to be careful if the dress has lace so the veil trim doesn’t conflict with the dress. But a plain dress is the perfect time to dress up your veil with a wonderful lace edge. This looks beautiful in the First Holy Communion photograph, so delicate and pretty.
Communion Veil with Bow … I know some people love bows and some people do not. So here at Lace and Grace Veils you can have your Communion Veil with Bow or without. I have four bows available and they can be put on a veil on comb or they can be added to a headpiece or a headpiece with a veil. I have satin bows in 1 1/2″ width with long streamers and I have a satin bow in a 1″ width with long streamers. This bow looks very pretty with the satin edge or with the satin/organza edge or it even dresses up the veil that has no edge. You can also choose a bow of satin/organza in either 1 1/2″ or 1″. This bow looks very pretty with the satin edges on the veil or the satin/organza edge also and again on the veil with no edge.
What this beautiful little girl wanted was a veil with butterflies. Her mother said you probably don’t have that though and I said sure I do. If she wants butterflies on her veil, then that’s what she will have. I was excited to make it for her and she was so happy to wear it. It seemed as if she was in a garden and the butterflies just happened to land on her veil. She didn’t want to wear gloves, but if she had I could have made the gloves with butterflies on the wrist. This is what I like to do, make something special, make what you are thinking of but can’t find anywhere. The veil she is wearing has a rolled edge. However, the veil could have a satin edge, an organza edge or a lace edge. This veil is 19 x 23 inches in length, but it could be made slightly shorter or just a little bit longer. I also have girls who just want the veil to fall to their shoulders. This veil is attached to a bun wrap. It can also be attached to a barrette or a comb if you don’t want to wear a headpiece. Some girls are more comfortable with a barrette in their hair because that is what they are used to wearing. The veil can also be attached to any other headpiece. So if you want a veil with butterflies, Lace and Grace Veils is the place to come. We do what you ask for.
Hi everyone. Let me introduce myself. My name is Eileen and I have been making Communion Veils for 10 years. This is what I love to do. I really enjoy being part of your special day. I love getting a picture to post here on my Gallery page of all these beautiful little girls in their veils. Here you will find special veils. These are not factory made, but handmade, one at a time, handmade bows and beautiful satin or organza or lace edges on the veils. I have basic veils, ribbon edged, headpieces, crowns, wreaths, plain veils or veils with rhinestones and pearls. If you want a shorter veil, just let me know and I will make it the length you want. I can even veil a headpiece of your own if you send it to me and let me know what you would like.
